 Keowee Sailing Club 2025 Youth Sailing Camp

 

March 1: Registration opens for KSC members.  Members have priority through March 14.  Any degree of relation to a KSC member is considered a ‘member camper’ for purposes of sailing camp — child, grandchild, niece / nephew.

 

Cost for KSC Members: $175.00 per camper

 
March 15: Applications open to the public.
 
Cost for Non-KSC Members: $275.00 per camper
 
Sailing Camp Dates:
  • June 2, 3 & 4 — Intermediate Camp (by invitation or approval only)
  • June 9, 10 & 11 — Opti Camp (8 & 9 year olds only — very limited space)
  • June 16, 17 & 18 — Basic Sailing Camp (Session 1) (ages 10 – 17)
  • June 23, 24 & 25 — Basic Sailing Camp (Session 2) (ages 10 – 17)

 

Camp Schedules:
For Opti & Basic Camps, campers should arrive at KSC (after breakfast) between 8:00-8:15 a.m. each day, and be picked up between 4:30-5:00 p.m. each day.  For Intermediate Camp, campers should arrive by 9:00 a.m. each day (with the exception of check-in on Monday between 8:00-9:00 a.m.), with departure between 4:30-5:30 p.m.

 

 

Youth Race Dates:

        Youth Race #1 -- July 12, 2025

        Youth Race #2 -- July 19, 2025

 

 

Steps to Apply for Sailing Camp:

 

Please read VERY carefully prior to completing the Google Forms link:

 

1.     Fully complete the online forms and then electronically submit (see below for the Google Forms link).  There are a total of 5 separate documents in the Google Forms link -- all information must be fully completed on all 5 documents.  
 
2.     After electronically submitting the online forms, check your email for a copy of the completed materials / Camp Packet you submitted.  It may take up to 24 hours for the email with the completed Camp Packet to be automatically generated.  Please check your spam filters.
 
3.     Print ALL pages of the EMAILED copy of the completed Camp Packet.
 
4.     After printing, PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN must physically sign in 8 places on the EMAILED copy of the completed Camp Packet materials:
Sign (in 8 places):
(1) 2025 Keowee Sailing Camp Application (1 place);
(2) KEOWEE SAILING CLUB - MEDICAL CONSENT FORM (1 place);
(3) KEOWEE SAILING CLUB - PARENTAL CONSENT FORM (1 place);
(4) KEOWEE SAILING CLUB ASSUMPTION OF RISK, WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT (4 places); and,
(5) PHOTO RELEASE - Keowee Sailing Club (1 place).
 
NOTE: Please be sure to VERY CAREFULLY check the Camp Packet before mailing.  Incomplete applications will delay processing.  A spot is not finalized / reserved until the entire Camp Packet is properly signed and returned with payment to the address listed at the end of the Camp Packet.  Do NOT mail the Camp Packet to Keowee Sailing Club.

 

YOU WILL RECEIVE AN EMAIL IF / WHEN YOUR CHILD HAS A SPOT IN SAILING CAMP.  THE CAMP DIRECTOR MUST RECEIVE THE ENTIRE PRINTED SIGNED CAMP PACKET AND CHECK IN THE MAIL BEFORE YOU WILL RECEIVE EMAIL CONFIRMATION OF CAMP REGISTRATION.

 

5.     Mail the ENTIRE ORIGINAL signed Camp Packet, along with check, to the address listed at the end of the Camp Packet (not to Keowee Sailing Club).  

*Please mail ENTIRE CAMP PACKET -- do not only send signature pages.  ONLY FULLY COMPLETED APPLICATIONS WILL RESERVE A SPOT.
*Mail CAMP PACKET with ORIGINAL SIGNATURES -- not a photocopy.
*Enclose a check for the camp fee ($175.00 for KSC members; $275.00 for non-KSC members) payable to Keowee Sailing Club.
*Applications WILL BE CONSIDERED IN THE ORDER RECEIVED.
*Applications sent to any other address, including Keowee Sailing Club, may be delayed in processing.
 
6.     After the Camp Packet materials and check are received in the mail, you will receive an email confirming your child's spot in camp, or notifying you that your child has been placed on the waiting list.
 
7.     If you have more than one child applying for sailing camp, please follow each of the above steps to submit a separate complete set of forms for each child.  You may mail multiple applications in a single envelope, but they must be stapled or clipped to keep the applications separate.  Please print all pages for all applications submitted.
